Footwear Makeover
"I’ve had these Oka-B sandals for quite a while now. They’re made in USA and you simply can’t tear/break or otherwise ruin them. Which is a definite plus. But as you can see they've been showing distinct signs of wear, especially because I had attached shoe-soles to them a while back and it left marks. So I decided to give the sandals a makeover. This is a super simple project. For step-by-step photo instructions follow the link below."
Materials List
- sandals
- glue
- scissors
- faux or real leather
- pencil
- crystal patches (optional)
NotesFor this project you can reuse leather or faux leather of your old boots or your kids' boots. Kids grow out of the their footwear so extremely fast and as a rule of thumb the boots front will show the most signs of wear whereas the boots-tops are normally preserved much better. These tops could be upcycled for this project and become beautiful sandals soles.

The before and after pics are very motivating. Cute makeover, money saved on buying new sandals and less waste going to landfill
