"The Scandinavian hearts are a cute little present to any loved one. While the paper woven version of this little heart is still made in area’s of Scandinavia, the crochet pattern is just as easy and fun to make. All you need is three different colours of yarn: two for the different heart pieces, and one for the border. Besides the written pattern, a chart and small photo tutorial of the Scandinavian heart is also included."

It is that time of the year. You will see more and more projects with hearts. I have seen a few of them in the last few days but this one is really different. The Scandinavian look is appealing so once I complete these hearts I hope to locate another pattern in the Scandinavian fashion.

Totally unique. So I headed over to google to see what was up with Scandinavian crochet and I like some of the images that populated. Because Valentines is close I think I will attempt this type of crochet with this project. Fingers crossed.
