Joy-ful Chargers
These Joy-ful Chargers are a great way to add "joy" to your home this holiday season. Made with light-weight chargers, some Mod Podge and sparkly glitter, DIY Christmas decorations like this are fun and easy to make, and a fun and inexpensive way to decorate your home for the holidays.
Materials:
- Aqua plastic chargers
- Mod Podge
- Glitter
- Foam brush
- Hot glue gun/glue
- Ribbon
Instructions:
-
I grabbed up some Mod Podge (the sparkle formula), some glitter, and a foam brush.
-
I started by painting the letter j with Mod Podge and sprinkling with glitter. I had to see if it would work…I wanted the look of sparkly snow.
-
Once I got the desired effect, I continued on with the o and the y.
-
Once they were nice and dry, I flipped the plates over and proceeded to hot glue the ribbon onto the backs of the chargers.
-
I just lined them up and glued the ribbon vertically. Once the glue was dry, I simply flipped them over and hung them in between two windows in my breakfast nook.

the Joy-ful Charger project looks easy. But I'm having a senior moment (I am 61!) & cannot for the life of me figure out what a "charger" is? The round items look like plates, like plastic plates I have bought at a dollar store. I hope someone reads this & explains what "charger's" are! An answer would be greatly appreciated!! Sherry
