Marshmallow Fluff Afghan

Materials:

• 7 skeins Red Heart Super Saver yarn in White
• 4.5mm (US G-7) crochet hook or size needed for gauge

Gauge:  4 rows–3”; 2  4-dc groups–2 ½”

Instructions:
Throw Measures:  46” x 53”
Design is done in multiples of 12 plus 16.

1. Row 1 (RS) : Ch 148, 3 dcs in 4th ch from hook, skip 5 chs, 4 dcs in next ch, ch 3, skip 2 chs, sc in next ch, ch 3, skip 2 chs, [4 dcs in next ch, skip 5 chs, 4 dcs in next ch, ch 3, skip 2 chs, sc in next ch, ch 3, skip 2 chs] across to last ch, dc in last ch,  turn.
    
2. Row 2: Ch 3, 3 dcs in same stitch, 4 dcs in first stitch of next 4-dc group, ch 3, sc in space between  this 4-dc group and next 4-dc group, ch 3, [4 dcs in fourth stitch of next 4-dc group, 4 dcs in first stitch of next 4-dc group, ch 3, sc in space between this 4-dc group and next 4-dc group, ch 3] across, dc in 3rd ch of beginning ch, turn.
    
3. Row 3: Ch 3, 3 dcs in same stitch, 4 dcs in first stitch of next 4-dc group, ch 3, sc in space between this 4-dc group and next 4-dc group, ch 3, [4 dcs in fourth stitch of next 4-dc group, 4 dcs in first stitch of next 4-dc group, ch 3, sc in space between this 4-dc group and next 4-dc group, ch 3] across, dc in 3rd ch of beginning ch, turn.
    
4. Rows 4 – 66: Repeat Row 3.
    
5. Row 67: Repeat Row 3 ending last ch space 2 chs, 2 dcs in 3rd ch of beginning ch.  Do Not Turn.

Edging

1. Work along top edge (sc, ch 3, 3 dcs) in first right corner dc, skip 2 dcs, (sc, ch 3, 2 dcs) in next dc, skip 2 dcs, (sc, ch 3, 2 dcs) in next dc, [(sc, ch 3, 2 dcs) in next sc, skip next ch 3 space and 2 dcs, (sc, ch 3, 2 dcs) next dc, skip 3 dcs, (sc, ch 3, 2 dcs) in next dc] across, (sc, ch 3, 3 dcs) in last dc.
    
2. Work along side edge [(sc, ch 3, dc) in first dc, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next dc] across.
