Just Stripes Crochet Baby Blanket
Use this crochet baby blanket pattern from Bernat Yarns to create a cozy cover with sweet color stripes. The yarn creates stripes as you crochet with no need to switch balls. This blanket makes a great baby shower gift.
Materials:
- Yarn: Bernat Baby Bouclé (100 g/3.5 oz) Main Color (MC) (36412 Seashell Stripes) 4 balls, Contrast A (36413 Sugar Baby Stripes) 3 balls
- Crochet Hook: Size 6.5 mm (U.S. K or 10½) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 9½ hdc and 6 rows = 4 ins 10 cm.
Measurements: Approx 34 x 25 ins 86.5 x 63.5 cm.
Instructions:
This yarn is designed to create stripes while you crochet. There are long sections of two colors, each approx 14 yds 12.9 m long with short sections approx 9 ins 23 cm long.
Note: Ch 2 does not count as st.
With white section of MC, ch 61. Leave rem length of white section unworked (you may cut it and weave it in later) and join next long pink section from the same ball with sl st.
1st row: (RS). 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook. 1 hdc in each ch to end of ch. 59 hdc. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. At this point pink section has been worked and white section is ready for next row.
3rd row: With long white section, ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. Turn.
4th row: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. At this point white section has been worked.
Join long pink section of A with sl st and proceed as follows:
5th row: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. Turn.
6th row: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. At this point pink section has been worked.
7th row: With long purple section, ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. Turn.
8th row: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. At this point purple section has been worked.
Join long white section of MC with sl st and proceed as follows:
9th row: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc to end of row. Turn.
Rep from to until work from beg measures approx 34 ins 86.5 cm, ending with pink color. Fasten off.

I'm confused by the last sentence of these instructions. "Repeat from to until..." FROM and TO what and where? Shouldn't there be a place or a line number or the * to let me know? Please let me know.
