Fabric Covered Cork Board
"Take an old, ugly framed piece of art from the Goodwill and turn it into a cute, functional cork board. This works especially well if you can find a piece that has a frame with a great shape. Pick a fabric and paint color that coordinate with your decorating style and you're sure to love it. This is a super functional piece that can be used in an office, classroom, or home to put up important reminders or artwork."
Materials List

Here is another highly customizable DIY craft project for your home. SInce I happen to LOVE poking around thrift stores, and do so about once a week, I do love a good, quirky find. I certainly enjoy the thrill of the hunt! I would like to see my frame in an ornate old design, and not paint it. I would then choose a vintage inspired cloth, hopefully something I can find in the remnant section of the fabric store. I like this idea a lot!

I collect pins, so this type of cork board would be so useful. I could display my collection in such a chic and organized way.

This is such a practical and clever idea. I have painted he frame of cork boards before but never covered them with fabric which is a great idea. Then you can swap, out the fabric for something different when your taste or decor changes. This is especially nice for kids as they grow and change their interests and color preferences. Add some criss cross ribbon if you don't want to use pins to attach items to the board!
