Antiqued and Textured Frame

Combine the old and the new with this antiqued, textured frame with optional textured wallpaper insert.
 

Materials:

• DecoArt Americana Brushes DBF2575-B - Flat 3/4"
• DecoArt Elegant Finish Glazes DGM03 - Medieval Gold
• DecoArt Elegant Finish Metallics DA249 - Silver Sage
• DecoArt Dazzling Metallics DAO74 - Royal Ruby
• DecoArt Palette Knife DT02 - Palette Knife
• DecoArt Texture Terra Cotta TXT03 - Grand Canyon
• DecoArt Texture Crackle TXC02 - Neutral
• Water container
• Palette or plastic plate
• Paper towels
• Wood frame
• Textured wallpaper, optional

Instructions:

1. Use palette knife to randomly apply Texture Terra Cotta Grand Canyon on frame surface.
    
2. Use palette knife to apply Texture Neutral Crackle in open areas, dragging crackle just over edges of Grand Canyon Terra Cotta. Let dry.
    
3. Use brush to apply Medieval Gold glaze lightly over frame. Immediately wipe back with slightly dampened paper towel or soft cloth.
    
4. For optional framed, textured wallpaper:

1. Cut textured wallpaper to fit inside frame opening.
    
2. Basecoat wallpaper Royal Ruby. Let dry.
    
3. Use brush to apply Silver Sage. Immediately wipe back with paper towel.
