Materials:
- Hardback books
- Paperback books
- Caromal Colours Toner
- Lace, linens, burlap, etc.
- Adhesive
- Various embellishments
- Velvet ribbon
Instructions:
-
I tore the covers from a large hardback book and 2 of the paperback books.
-
I then aged the outer edges and top page with Caromal Colours Toner.
-
Lace, linens, burlap, pillowcases, etc., pulled from my fabric shelf.
-
I cut bits and pieces from here and there, then used Elmer’s glue to adhere them to the books.
-
I also went through my buttons and jewelry jars for other embellishments. That is an earring on the top right corner of the book.
- I wrapped a velvet ribbon around each book. I tied the two paperback books together.
