Fabulous Dahlia Dishcloth
The circular pattern of this dishcloth from Lily Sugar n' Cream truly is fabulous. The bright colors make you think of springtime with a floral shape. It's great for washing dishes or just using as a decorative piece in the kitchen.

- Lily Sugar’n Cream (70.9 g/2.5 oz; 109 m/120 yds)
- Contrast A (01215 Robin’s Egg) 1 ball
- Contrast B (00042 Tea Rose) 1 ball
- Contrast C (00073 Sunshine) 1 ball
- Size 5 mm (U.S. H or 8) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
GAUGE
15 sc and 16 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].

INSTRUCTIONS
With A, ch 8. Join with sl st to form ring.
1st rnd: Ch 1. Work 16 sc in ring. Join B with sl st to first sc.
2nd rnd: With B, ch 4 (counts as tr). 1 tr in same sp as sl st. 2 tr in each sc around. Join with sl st to top of ch 4. 32 sts.
3rd rnd: Ch 4 (counts as tr). (Yoh) twice and draw up a loop in same sp as last sl st. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. *(Yoh) twice and draw up a loop in next tr. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. Rep from * once more. Yoh and draw through all 4 loops on hook – counts as cluster. **Ch 3. (Yoh) twice and draw up a loop in same sp as last tr. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. [(Yoh) twice and draw up a loop in next tr. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice] twice.Yoh and draw through all 4 loops on hook –cluster made. Rep from ** to end of rnd. Ch 3. Join C with sl st to top of first cluster.
4th rnd: With C, ch 6. Sl st in 4th ch from hook. 3 tr in same sp as sl st at end of 3rd rnd. 1 sc in top of next cluster. *Ch 6. Sl st in 4th ch from hook. 3 tr in same sp as last sc. 1 sc in top of next cluster. Rep from * around.
Join with sl st to base of first cluster. Fasten off.

These would be great for a bathroom, actually. I would make a gift as such buy a nice handmade bar of natural, herbal or infused soap and wrap this beautiful "dish" cloth around it and tie it with a grosgrain ribbon. Nobody needs to know it's meant as a dishcloth.

I would hate to use something this pretty to wash dishes - This would make a nice pad to put under a bowl of hot food.

used this for topper on my gifts in a jar. Just weave sm ribbon through and tie on jar. Used some Christmas colors, and lots of scraps. My friends 2 gifts and my jars looked great.
