Hi there! Someone asks about gauge in the comments on the blog post. Here is what the designer said: "The wire I used was some that Ive had for awhile, I think its 20 gauge. You probably dont want to go any smaller than 20 or your beads will weigh it down and it wont hold its shape." I hope that helps!

So very sharp and stunning this black pearl necklace is and so fast and easy to make. I have always wanted to make a two strand necklace but never could seem to get up the patience to try and learn and then I see this tutorial and wonder Why I Did Not Make one sooner. Such a great tutorial and a very unique design. I like the way you can twist a different way each time you feel the urge too and a great tutorial to learn to do the double strands. Anyone make this black pearl necklace?
