Reindeer Ornament
Have Rudolph the red nosed reindeer hanging from your Christmas tree this year. This easy ornament is great for kids to help out with. Easy Christmas crafts are always fun for the whole family.
Materials:
- 2 wiggle eyes (15mm oval used on sample)
- 16 large (18mm) brown starflake beads
- 1 small (10mm) red pom pom
- 1-12 inch piece of gold tinsel stem (or pipe cleaner)
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Craft glue
Steps:
- Cut the 12 inch tinsel stem into three pieces. One 8 inch piece and two 2 inch pieces. Set the two 2 inch pieces aside for now.
- Slip 16 starflake beads onto the 8 inch tinsel stem and slide them to the center. (See photo)
- Twist the ends of the tinsel stem together to form a circle. The extra tinsel stem will become the antlers. Twist the 2 pieces of tinsel stem (cut in Step 1) around the antlers. Shape them as shown. (See photo)
- Glue a red pom pom to the bottom center of the circle to make the nose.
- Glue 2 wiggle eyes close together at the top of the circle to finish the face.

This would be a good craft item or small gift for senior citizens homes. I think it's cute!

its actually very cute - the picture looks red but the snowflake beads are actually brown in the kit. The kit that they sell is around $6 and it makes 12. It was great for a group of kids.
