Glass Heart Pendant
It seems like magic, but glass magnifies anything placed underneath it. In this jewelry making craft project by Maria Nerius, a tiny bird fills a glass heart to create a pretty pendant.
Materials:
- Glass heart glob (found in stain glass supplies)
- Scraps of decorative paper
- Clear drying glue or laminate glue
- Scissors
- Bail
Instructions:
- Puddle a small amount of a clear glue or laminate glue onto decorative paper. This project used scraps from a decorative glittery paper with a small bird image.
- Place your glass glob onto the puddle making sure you are happy with the placement. The glass magnifies anything underneath it. This project centered on the bird.
- Press down firmly, wiping away any excess glue that might squeeze out of the edges. Repeat for as many pendants as you want. If possible place a book on top of your pendants as they dry to keep the paper flat. Allow to dry.
- Trim excess paper away from the pendant. Adhere a jewelry bail to back of pendant and allow to dry.
