How to Make Galaxy Tennis Shoes

    1. Use painter’s tape to mask sole of shoe, and anywhere else you don’t want paint.

    2. Use a small brush to apply Fuchsia Stylin’ Paint onto the shoe.

    3. Add in Purple and Turquoise. Blend the colors together where they meet.

    4. Apply Black into the remaining areas, using a clean brush to lightly blend into the other colors.

    5. Use a fine tip brush to add stars to the shoe. Create stars by adding clusters of dots and starbursts by painting crossing lines in White.

    6. Carefully remove painter’s tape. Let dry.

    7. Your shoes are finished! If you love this tutorial, be sure to check out decoart.com for even more inspiration.

Wow, these are pretty. What a neat idea. I like the series of colors that represent the galaxy. I think I'd cover the toe area with the paints too. I think the toe area is a material that will hold paint, do you? If not I'd get a less embellished pair. Starry shoe laces would be cute to decorate the shoes further also.
