Textured Glass Vase
Add texture, color, elegance and style, to a glass vase with paintable texture.
Materials:
- DecoArt Paintable Texture TX01 - Glass
- DecoArt Elegant Finish Glazes - DGM01 - Renaissance Brown
- DecoArt Elegant Finish Metallics - DA148 - Emperor's Gold
- DecoArt Texture Tools DAS175
- DecoArt Palette Knife - DT02
- DecoArt Americana Brushes - DBF2575-B - Flat 3/4"
- Water container
- Palette or plastic plate
- Paper towels or soft cloth
- Vase of your choice
Instructions:
- Use palette knife to apply Texture Glass on surface.
- While wet, drag Texture Tool through Texture Glass to create swirled design. Let dry.
- Use brush to apply Emperor's Gold over entire surface. Let dry.
- Use brush to apply Renaissance Brown over surface. Immediately wipe back with paper towel or soft cloth.

Wow. Never seen this done before but this tutorial looks so simple enough and a great way to decorate a vase to make it look so beautiful.These will make great gifts for birthdays,Christmas or even on wedding tables. The metallic paint makes it even more classy. I love that you can create your own texture on the pieces to make it your own handmade gift. Anyone making these fo Christmas gifts?
