School Spirit Ornaments

Show your spirit with this Christmas ornament craft. School Spirit Ornaments from Meggan Maravich are a fantastically fun project that you can save for years to come!


 

Materials:

• Mini chalkboard (I used 3" x 3" and 3" x 2")
• Craft stick
• Chunky painted bird
• A tiny Santa hat
• Red acrylic paint
• White paint pen
• Partridge in a pear tree

Instructions:

1. Paint mini chalkboard trim red.
    
2. Paint craft stick red, sand the edges, and use the paint pen to write the school's name.
    
3. My kids have "CLEORA" and the twenty-five we made for QCG's kids say "RIDGYS".
   
   
    
4. Use Tacky Glue to attach the craft stick to the chalkboard. I allowed these to dry overnight.
    
5. Hot-glue Santa hats onto tiny chunky painted birds.
    
6. Hot-glue Santa-hat-clad birds onto mini chalkboards then add the holly for color.
